About the RIBA
The Royal Institute of British Architects is the UK body for architecture and the architectural profession.
The RIBA is known to millions through the annual televised RIBA Stirling Prize for architecture, and through the work of its 40,000+ 'RIBA' architect members, drawn from across the globe, and bearing the gold standard for practice in the profession.
A champion for architectural design quality, and with a passion to promote a wider public appetite and interest in architecture through its website, exhibitions, talks and four million-strong collections, the RIBA has led the profession since its foundation in 1834, and continues to lead as architects face the challenges of the 21st century.
The RIBA holds Business Superbrand status, an accolade first awarded in 2008, and counts construction industry leaders and government among its audiences.
