About Rockwool

Rockwool

Architect in the House is delighted to be supported by Rockwool as Sponsor.

Rockwool Ltd has manufactured stone wool insulation at its factory in Pencoed, South Wales since 1979, and employs over 350 people from the local area. Rockwool insulation is one of the few products that can save more than 100 times the energy used for its manufacture.

Paula Bateman, Rockwool’s Corporate Affairs Director, says: ‘We are passionate about supporting Shelter in its work to improve the living conditions of vulnerable people.

‘Our company is always concerned with the way it interacts with the local and global environment. We understand that our local actions have a global impact and are committed to a socially, environmentally and economically responsible approach to our business.’

As Sponsor, Rockwool is committed to helping those suffering in substandard housing, helping Shelter extend the reach of Architect in the House and generating vital funds towards Shelter's work.
